Extensive Green Roofing Systems, using lightweight and low maintenance sedum vegetation, can perfectly be combined with an UltraPly TPO Roofing System. This lightweight, scrim-reinforced and heat-weldable membrane has passed the FLL test for resistance to root penetration. The UltraPly TPO membrane can thus be used in conjunction with extensive vegetation and give the green roofing system a durable, reliable foundation.

In case of bamboo, reed and other plants that exhibit rhizome formation (e.g. Phragmites Australis, Phragmites Communis, Typha,…)a separate root barrier is required or the plants should be confined within a space separated from the UltraPly TPO membrane by a root barrier.
